Course begins Sunday, November 8th, 2026.
Class dates: 11.8, 11.15, 11.22, 11.29, 12.6, 12.13
Instructor: McKenna Sheehan.
This course offers new students a 6 week introduction to handbuilding. Participants will learn pinch, coil, and slab building techniques to create mugs, vases, planters, and more. Students will also learn how to finish their pots using standard decorating and glazing techniques. This class is for students with no prior pottery experience, all are welcome.
Course fee includes unlimited practice clay, use of all community tools and equipment, studio glazes made in-house, bisque firing and glaze firing. Students may fire and keep up to 10lb fired clay per class. Open studios on Saturdays are also included for students currently enrolled in a class.
